Ragada – i dont know why did i see this Movie!!!

1 Hero + 2 Heroines + 4 villains + 6 Songs some of them unnecessary + Some irrelevant dialogues + some exposing in the songs + fights + non emotional sentimental scenes + a non touching flash back , a huge fighting scene in the climax = RAGADA.

I think you must have understood by now how the movie is made, I don’t know why Nagarjuna has accepted this offer? If he was interested in making a mass film – then this movie was not a good choice. Some people say that this is a movie made for Mass Audience, does Mass Audience like these kinda movies? I don’t think so, just out of curiosity I asked a person whom these people say C center’s Audience, he said “em teesadu anna – inka enni rojulu choodali ilantivi” . That’s what happened with Ragada. Then for whom this movie is made? Not for Nagarjuna fans for sure. If he really wanted to do a so called Mass film – he would have followed the same as “King”, “Don” at least.

Introduction of Nagarjuna to show his heroism (it was just like he was not hitting the people, but like people coming and standing in front of him to get beaten up by him) was not a great entry. And in one dialogue something like “Manchiki Cherugada , cheddavallaki Ragada” what???? why cherukugada came in between, oh ok got it was introduced as its rhyming for Ragada. These dialogues are placed at a pace in this movie. And in many movies I think what will happen to Guns when some action sequences go on in the movies. All will just leave their guns aside and just go in front of the hero and get beaten up. The last fight and a fight just before Intermission.  And coming to the most embarrassing thing in this movie – Songs, just a small conversation between hero and heroine, then heroine stares him with all smiles and songs. Abbahhaa.

The best part of the movie is Brahmanandam’s intro, it was really amazing, it was better than Nag’s entry and of course we can say one of the best for Brahmi. He was totally amazing, if he has something to do in this film, he will be – may be the saving grace for the movie. His expressions, dialogues and witty things in the movie are the best. Definitely one of the best comedy performances by Brahmi in recent times. One dialogue I recollect with all expressions he says “Don’t laugh Sireesha don’t laugh to his jokes” it was amazing and only he can do it. Songs by Thaman.S were ok , except the foot tapping number sung by Baba Sehgal. That’s it folks, I enjoyed watching Kedi than watching Ragada. So this is it!!. I liked Kedi than this movie.

Bottom Line: Some people may like but I didn’t like it and u know how cutlet Ragada or Samosa Ragada will be made? Adding mirch masala , onions and meeta etc…. But if anything is added more than what is required. Then it will be definitely spoiled.

Orange – Unique in its own ways

“Orange is a love story which has a Universal appeal”.

“Orange is not name of any character in the movie, it’s a color and three’s a connection between this color and the story”.

“While writing a script or shooting I don’t look for any one’s satisfaction, I look for my own satisfaction”.

These are the words Director Bhaskar told to South Scope when he was interviewed. I was really excited to watch this film, my fav hero’s son and that too with a good director and real euphony in the form of songs from the day Audio had released.

When I went the film and at last got confused by the end of the film for what I expected and what I have seen in this movie? I really went into a state of mix-up trying to understand the film. The film has too many questions for me when I was watching the first half. But I did not find any answers to justify the questions. Substantiation is more important in this genre of films

Ambiguities:-

Firstly the movie itself started with a confused note, and the funny thing called fight scene for no reason and cops coming and asking what is ur story, what happened….baaap re… people say to me “Dude this is just a movie take it easy” but I have my own reasons why the fight scene is not required there.

And the graffiti thing ‘at some point in the movie ‘they say that Graffiti is a crime and people will be arrested for it”, whaaat, I will ask then why did not cops arrest Ram for what he was doing on the roads of Australia in the starting scene people say to me “Dude this is just a movie take it easy” ok fine will take it easy…

The above two things are just vague so we can just leave it in the air. People asked me why are you just thinking about flaws, “think of the concept – it’s an awesome one”. But I say when the director has established something he just convinces to what he has shown or at least stick to it, but the concept was derailed.

And for making the hero a good person, the director has chosen the relativity concept, like “To prove his point, he has made other point totally wrong by giving some good reasons. To make or to show the lead that he is good he has made other people look bad in the movie and created a situation for it too (the sms sent to wrong person by hero’s friend). Vennela Kishore in seriously underutilized, he has the capacity to tickle the audience even if Brahmanadam was not present, but I would say both are underutilized and mainly Kishore for many reasons

Required some substantiation:-

Ram will ask Genelia to love him but only for some time… ok fine he also tells her he is not interested in long term relationships so he just wants to love her for few days…whaaat??? Is love a thing which can be used for few days and then leave it? Preminchesukundam … lets love….ok “ when a guy asks a girl come on lets love” then the girl will ask “ what should we do now” the guy says lets love “ the girl goes into a confusion she never understands what he is asking for? What does anyone should do extra to love? “Meeting each other daily or talking daily or something else” is this called LOVE? Inkonchem Premista… stars revolving my head…after hearing this…

The director has taken this for granted without even explaining what is happening on the screen and the movie is over and if anybody asks the director says , “We need to understand what it means” …. Dude is this a puzzle or what? Movie should not be a bunch of questions or confusion enough to make think and then understand what is happening on screen.

Exceptional:

But the movie has majority of exceptional things and unique in itself – The movie was rich and it’s awesome to watch on screen. I really liked the screen presence of Ram Charan , he mastered and he did a brilliant job. Harris Jayraj’s tunes are awesomely marvelous and I think this reason may cause people to watch the movie multiple times. This is really worth watching for anything and can be considered one of the best this year. Music can be considered as the second best this year after YMC.

And character Shahzan Padamsee was good to watch than Genny , that’s what I think so …  Ram Charan’s looks have changed and we can say now he will be a star or at least he has become one. He improved again from his previous movie. Mature and rich look made him to look good on screen. The photography should get credit equally from whatever the other departments get.

One thing, the movie has a very good reason (the flashback episode in Mumbai) – it’s a brilliant concept to make a movie on, and even in the movie it looked fantastic with foot tapping Rooba Rooba in the flash back, but in the first half to establish this experience by the protagonist some where it just missed the track , Some dialogues are worth – The Car’s lights off – truth or dare , Guys this the best concept ever for a movie to be made and luckily Charan was in it, but just few substantiated point would have made the movie look Splendid. I liked the movie but the above point (the first two paragraphs) I have written because they made the movie look just good. Otherwise it’s a treat to watch ORANGE.

Don’t miss this flick – it’s unique in its own ways. Better than other movies released this season and that’s for sure.

P.S: BTW whats Orange in the movie?

The Social Network – A Rare Masterpiece

I take interest in watching movie rather than reading books becoz of the beauty in the art of visual communication, a book explains what a person is thinking but a movie shows it in emotions.  Recently I have seen “The Social Network” and I liked it becoz….

I usually think what makes a movie which is based on real characters or adaptations from novels will be so interesting or touching. I think I have understood from this movie. “It’s the way we get inspired from the characters, it’s the way how we think about the emotions , it’s the way how we understand the perceptions of the protagonists in the movie, finally it’s the way IT IS.

This movie is largely breezy, uplifting and intoxicating. There is so much more I could say about this movie. It’s just peppered with both understated and towering cinematic master strokes with beautifully written dialogues. The film flips backwards and forwards through time and one must love it for its originality.

Yes if something is shown how it was, then definitely it will be a wonderful creation. Though the movie is inspired from a novel “Accidental Billionaires”, but the movie has charisma of its own if taken any technical department into consideration.

The film ducks in and out of the lives of students from Harvard , as they build their careers and trample over one another on their way to success , but one guy stands apart and strives for his dream. It’s the FACEBOOK. He just makes it to impress his girlfriend, and the attitude of that guy is the best part of the movie and the director shows his intentions or the emotions or take anything in an amazingly awesome way. He never thinks of anything, money friendship or any bull shit, he has just one thing in his mind The actors have been appropriately selected and personify the characters justly.

I want to say more about the movie but I am not that good at expressing my feelings about anything , but (in my words) seriously just go and watch this movie , this made my day on that day, but never miss anything most importantly the dialogues in the movie.

There were no Goosebumps or anything; I had just a beautiful smile on my face all the time even while coming out of the movie. Its beautifully written, amazingly directed and best personified, a best example of astonishing film making.

Bottom Line: Don’t miss this flick, all I can say is It’s not just best film of the year; it’s one of the best ever made (is what I think).

RGV and His Rakta Charitra, His Strategy…Waaw

Foreword: This is just an article written out of some baffling things I came across after Raktha Charita had released. People who liked the film and think that it’s the real story and would not accept if anyone says that it is not – Do not read this. This is on RGV and not on the Movie

Guyz, recently I have seen many people discussing about Raktha Charitra connecting to real life characters and I have also came across people who are not native to this state asking that is Ravi , NTR etc(whoever he has shown in the movie) were like this? It’s not like this or they were not like this, THIS IS JUST A MARKETING STATERGY BY THE GR8 RGV. He had done his job and with beauty. If anyone asks who the best in this is, definitely I would answer its RGV.

Years back RGV made a movie with Jagapathi Babu in the lead role and it was a massive hit for both of them. RGV told that it was based on true incidents. The story goes like this, the Hero will be elsewhere studying and his father and brother would be killed by the rival gangsters. Then he takes the lead role with his supporters and runs the gang and where ever he goes there will be a bunch of people around him – his private security. Why does he come or land into this? A dialogue to remember from that movie.

“Chanipoindi naa anna , na vallu , so deeni antham cheyalsindi kooda nene” – Those dead are my family people so I should be the only person to end this. The movie is GAYAM.

Oh gosh, I heard this dialogue recently in one more movie of the same director and gags did the I tell the story of Raktha Charita above? Yes I did. Let’s talk about the gr8 RGV , in a movie Hrithik Roshan named Mr. A , portrayed as thief and he steals expensive things just to have fun, he just says it is a hobby and just wanna make a “A” symbol of places he steal things from.

I thought of the same character when I thought about RGV, he wants everything to be Sensation, the people should talk about, the media should shout their limits to an extent talking about his films. He wants people to make publicize his movie. He just did that with Raktha Charitra. Somebody said that he is a perfect persona in doing anything like this.

And he made fools out of the audience and the Media itself. Hats off RGV, and definitely I would say that he might be sitting at home and laughing at seeing all these – people rallying to stop the screening of the movie, all media channels giving away their time to show something more useless than what they always show. RGV also fooled Ravi fans stating that this movie is based on him – waaah kya baat hei. He wanted to make a movie on the same story line of GAYAM or SARKAR , but this time he wanted to make it differently so he wanted to add some real incidents adapting from some people in Rayalaseema.

I am not saying that Raktha Charitra is not based on Paritala Ravi, but just saying that it has some elements in it which he adapted to make his movie a well known and most viewed and for some other reason. But this is what it is. What does he know about any of them shown in the movie? When he came to town – Nellore in AP, a fan from the crowd asked why doesn’t he make a movie on Ravi? Then RGV answered that he doesn’t know him, if he likes his biography he would definitely make a movie. This is in front of thousands of people in a meeting (even Big B was present there). And now what he is saying , as if he knew Ravi from ages , like in an interview, he was quoting that violence has to be shown to show the avenge feeling and Ravi was a fearful man. He doesn’t even know him till Sarkar released then what bull shit is he talking about Ravi? Did he anytime see him, maybe he came to know some things….

A perfect market strategy or a perfect strategy to make himself sensational. That is RGV. In the movie he nowhere shows the heroism or the importance of the character. Just killing spree did not make Ravi a leader. Where did he show all these things?.

It was just like other movie made by him.  If he wouldn’t have publicized going to Jail and meeting Soori and meeting Paritala Suneetha, would this have run with this response? Now the film is a commercial success with unpredictable collections but for what? Just because of its publicity and just because of RGV. If I say it’s because of RGV, here I am not mentioning his directorial skills but the way he fermented things pre-release. Awesome, I think the producer should pray RGV for his contribution for the success of the movie. Other Producers are you looking at this , follow the same thing whole media )sorry I would not pull all the media but just want to pull our regional media ) will spend some time on you and your movie.

Media played a over action role in promotion of the movie and hats off to RGV for he is the first person to use media in his favor without paying them and just by fooling them he became news. Does any movie need to be publicized in this way keeping all the important issues aside?

RGV just wants to be in the NEWS that’s it!!! For that he can say that he is going to make a movie on Mumbai blasts and make a normal terrorist attack on some hotel without any connection to the original incident; Intelligent bloke.

Even Ravi’s wife came out and said that the story has a lot of additions or changed from the biography of Ravi. People say that NTR is the person who raised Ravi to these heights and that is what is shown in the movie, but here I am asking a scene from Pokiri “ A rowdy comes in front of media and says that he killed that guy what will you do” so can we relate this to Moddu Seenu’s character? Coz he gave the statement in the same way after killing Ravi. And also in the movie shock “In the Jail Raja Raveendra will be having a mobile with him and he will be ordering through his mobile this doesn’t mean that he is Maddelacheruvu Soori, and in the movie Sainikudu Prakash Raj meets with an accident while preparing bombs in the Lodge in the same way how Moddu seenu got caught in the real time. So what I say is these are all made inspired from real incidents from just not real.

In the same way Raktha Charitra is also some way inspired from real incidents but just not totally portray the real life characters, just don’t go and decide that the real life characters are just as same as this movie characters.

I am saying this because from the movie’s shooting start till the movie released everyday there were some programs on TV on Raktha Charitra, the regional media has put aside even the CWG games on the inauguration day of CWG and they were taking interview with RGV and Obul Reddy’s family. Is this not just fooling around people?

RGV is at his heights of his the so called “Creating Publicity”, so just watch this wonderful movie just watch it do not connect with any of the real characters. If you wanna know about Ravi then you would just a get a glimpse of him and his aggressiveness, his fearlessness, his attitude, his charisma then Raktha Charitra is a bad choice. Watch some of the videos on YouTube to know about him. And I can admit that from what I heard and read and seen of him that ‘He was simply Superb’ P.S: Movie is superb, don’t miss it, just have just go and watch it. And groovy, dandy, peachy RGV is best at……………………….????????????.

Know what while updating this some program coming on N TV regarding that there will one more CM shown in the second part. Now the publicity starts, lets enjoy and I bet you will see many more these things in coming days till Nov19.
